What a year of it has been for our Park! We have seen excellent play in our baseball and softball tournaments, and the competition is as good as it has ever been. Many teams playing out of Signature Park are ranked in the top 5 in their respective age groups! We have introduced the Signature Park Academy with professional training.
My family and I wish to thank all of you for supporting Signature Park. It is because of the athletes and parents that play and volunteer here at the park that our dream is becoming the reality we hoped it would when we began this journey six years ago.
While 2015 has been a year of expansion and great change, 2016 is shaping up to be the best year ever at Signature Park. We are in the process of preparing the ground for our first lacrosse/soccer field! We are going to build a pavilion and concession stand with permanent restrooms that our moms will be thrilled with! We are scheduling more tournaments than ever this spring for our baseball and softball teams around the region that enjoy coming to Signature Park.
Most importantly we will begin construction of our Miracle League Field. This baseball field for disabled youth will be the first of its kind in Northeast Georgia and will serve thousands of youth in our communities. It is a dream of ours that will become a reality, but we need your help to do so sooner than later.
During the holiday season many families like ours look for worthy causes to give to. My family and I are asking for all supporters of Signature Park to please give what you can towards our Miracle League project. It is important to my family and the staff at Signature Park that we do whatever is necessary to hold our first game on this field as soon as possible. The disabled youth in our community and their families need a place for recreation and fun, and like we say, everyone deserves to play baseball!
